Refund Policy

1. All Sales Are Final

All session payments ($5 USD) are non-refundable. When you book a session, the Helper is compensated for their time and availability regardless of whether the session takes place.

2. Apple In-App Purchase Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchases. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must request it directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tear Mate does not have the ability to issue refunds directly — Apple controls all payment processing and refund decisions.

3. Cancellations

Either party (Seeker or Helper) may cancel a session at any time. However, cancellation does not entitle the Seeker to a refund. This policy exists to protect Helpers, who may have turned down other commitments to be available.

4. Exceptions

In cases of demonstrable fraud, technical errors that result in a double charge, or a Helper who did not show up and cannot be reached, please contact us at support@tearmate.online within 7 days of the transaction. We will review each case individually and work with Apple where appropriate.

5. Disputes

For payment disputes not resolved through Apple, contact us at support@tearmate.online. We will respond within 3 business days.
